The Pickpocket is a recurring enemy in the Ganbare Goemon series. As his name implies, he will try to steal money from the player.
Description
While there is honor among thieves, not all thieves share in the honor. Some thieves such as these only look out for themselves. Therefore, when you get hit by them, not only will you take a little damage, but you will also lose money as a result. Avoid tangling with these guys to keep from losing coins every time they hit you.

Pickpockets will steal a random amount of coins (ranging between 10 to 200) from the player every time they bump into them. They are able to jump over obstacles and, unlike the standard enemies, they don't deal damage on collision.
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
A man wearing a loose shirt and having a malevolent –or outright deranged– expression on his face. He appears in the town sections of Warlock Zone I: Mystical Ghost and Warlock Zone VI: Tengu Mountain. The Pickpocket will initially move at a regular pace, but if the player happens to be in the same line as him, he'll suddenly rush at them. If he manages to bump into the player, besides inflicting damage, he'll also steal 50 coins from them (shown as a pouch that drops out of the player). Fortunately, he is a relatively rare enemy and isn't encountered very often.
The Pickpockets in Warlock Zone I wear violet pants, while those in Warlock Zone VI wear orange pants, although both behave identically.
Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shōgun Magginesu
The main difference is that in this game, the Pickpocket will steal 100 coins instead of the usual 50; and since in this game, money has a bit of more relevance than in previous adventures, having an encounter with one might result in a heavy blow to the player's economy.
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
In this game, they once again appear in some towns, although they are far more rare than in previous games. They steal 50 coins when they bump into the player, and then run away. If the player manages to strike them before they run away, they could retrieve a part of the stolen money back.
